🌲 Assistant Campground Manager

 

Part-Time | 20 hrs/week
Start Date: May to September
Application Deadline: May 4th
Compensation: $25/hour + tips

🌿 About the Role:

After 8 full seasons of running this beautiful, soul-filled place, it’s time to bring in a right-hand person — someone I can trust to hold down the fort, keep things flowing, and bring joy to the campground community.

The Assistant Campground Manager is a key leadership role that supports daily operations and guest experiences at Salmon Valley Campground. You’ll wear many hats — from helping guests with check-in and site cleanliness, to making lattes in the Treat Shack, organizing small events, and keeping the vibe kind, welcoming, and awesome.

This is a part-time role (approx. 20 hours/week) with room to grow for the right person.

✨ What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Campground Operations:

    • Oversee the flow of daily campground activities

    • Support staff and provide leadership when the owner is off-site

    • Handle site check-ins/outs, guest questions, and light troubleshooting

    • Maintain cleanliness and quality across sites, washhouse, and glamping trailer

  • Customer Experience:

    • Deliver exceptional, heart-centered service to guests

    • Create a welcoming, inclusive environment where people feel at home

    • Handle light conflict or concerns with confidence and care

  • Treat Shack + Coffee Bar Duties:

    • Make coffee and treats with care

    • Keep the space clean, stocked, and inviting

    • Ensure all food safety standards are met

  • Workshop & Event Support:

    • Assist in planning, organizing, and supporting workshops, live music, and other small events

    • Add creativity and energy to programming

  • Admin & Tech Tasks:

    • Use our reservation system (training provided)

    • Manage basic digital tasks and guest communication

    • Support with social media content, posts, and stories (bonus!)

🚗 You’ll Need:

  • A reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license

  • Food Safe Certification (or willing to get one before the season starts)

  • Comfort using simple technology and learning systems

  • Basic social media skills (Instagram/Facebook — bonus if you love content!)

  • Ability to work some weekends and evenings, especially during busy summer months

🌲 Campground Attendant

 

Part-Time | 20–25 hrs/week

Starting in May and ending end of September

🌿 About the Role:
We’re looking for a part-time Campground Attendant to help keep Salmon Valley Campground running smoothly during the 2025 season.

This is a hands-on, guest-facing role perfect for someone who enjoys outdoor work, loves connecting with people, and takes pride in creating a clean, cared-for environment.

Your primary focus will be maintaining the grounds, washhouse, and common areas — but you’ll also help with guest check-ins, answering questions, and making sure visitors have a great stay.

This is a part-time seasonal role (20–25 hours/week), with flexible scheduling for the right candidate.

✨ What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Campground Maintenance:

  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the washhouse and across campsites

  • Clean and prepare sites between guest stays

  • Mow lawns, trim, weed-whack, and assist with light landscaping

  • Empty garbage bins and manage recycling

  • Assist with minor repairs, painting, and general upkeep

  • Customer Experience:

  • Greet guests warmly and check them in with our reservation system (training provided)

  • Answer questions and guide guests to their sites

  • Address small concerns promptly and professionally to ensure a great experience

  • Occasionally assist in the Coffee & Treat Shack (making coffee, serving ice cream, etc.)

  • Support small campground events and activities (if interested

🚗 You’ll Need:

  • A reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license

  • Food Safe Certification (or willingness to complete before start date)

  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and complete physical tasks throughout your shift

  • Strong interpersonal skills — warm, approachable, and guest-focused

🌿 About the Role:
We’re looking for a friendly and energetic Guest Services & Coffee Bar Attendant to be a welcoming face at Salmon Valley Campground this season!

This is the perfect summer role if you love interacting with people, making great coffee, and helping keep things flowing smoothly behind the scenes. You'll primarily work in the campground office and our Coffee & Treat Shack — checking guests in, handling reservations, making lattes, serving ice cream, and helping guests feel at home from the moment they arrive.

This is a part-time seasonal position (20–25 hours/week) and you are willing to work weekdays (July/August), weekends and evenings

✨ What You’ll Be Doing:
Guest Services:

  • Be the first smiling face guests see when they arrive — setting the tone for their stay

  • Handle check-ins, check-outs, and campground reservations (training provided)

  • Answer questions, give recommendations, and ensure guests feel welcome and supported

  • Handle basic conflict or guest concerns with professionalism and care

Coffee & Treat Shack Duties:

  • Prepare and serve specialty coffees, baked goodies, and ice cream with love and attention to detail

  • Ensure food and beverage areas are clean, stocked, and inviting at all times

  • Maintain Food Safe standards and high levels of cleanliness

  • Create a warm, fun environment where guests love to stop by

Admin Support:

  • Use our campground reservation system and POS system (training provided)

  • Assist with basic record-keeping and cash handling

  • Support social media by capturing fun moments and sharing positive vibes (bonus!)

🚗 You’ll Need:

  • Reliable transportation to and from Salmon Valley Campground

  • Food Safe Certification (must have by start date)

  • Previous customer service experience (hospitality, retail, or similar preferred)

  • Comfort learning basic technology systems (POS, booking software)

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and some evenings
