CLOSED FOR THE SEASON
We are now booking for our 2024 Camping Season.

OPENING DAY MAY 15th, 2024

Welcome and thank you for taking the time to check out our campground!  We hope as you explore our website, you are drawn to our beautiful property and want to camp with us. You can now head over to our website to book a stay with us.  We will be opening for our 2024 season May 15th and closing for the season September 15th.

Salmon Valley Campground is located 25 minutes North of Prince George, British Columbia along the beautiful Salmon River.

From the moment we stepped foot on this beautiful property, we felt something special.  We wanted to create a space for those visiting to relax, connect with nature, themselves and those they are with.  We opened our gates in 2018 and each year, and since then, we have been joined by campers from all over the world.  Many of our campers who have fallen in love with our property, the feeling you get when you are here, and because of this,  have chosen to spend as much time out here as possible. Together, we have created a very special community of like-hearted campers.

Whether you are tenting or camping in an RV, we have sites for everyone.  Currently, we have 16 serviced sites with power and water.  Many of our sites are along the river and some within the forest. Our newly renovated wash house has flushing toilets, free hot showers and we have complimentary sani-dump on site for those guests staying with us.  We have dry firewood for sale and will deliver right to your site.

If you are a coffee lover, you will want to check out our Coffee and Treat Shack with fresh baked goodies and our very own exclusive coffee beans roasted right here from Northern BC. You will also find a fantastic selection of lemonade, tea, campground swag, and a delicious selection hard ice cream. Our Treat Shack hours are dependent on the whether, as we are incredibly slower on those ugly rainy days.  Keep an eye on our Facebook page to when we are open.  Opening day for the Coffee and Treat Shack will be May 18th.

Reservations must be made in advance as we do not accept drive in bookings. For the months of July and August, as well as weekends throughout the season, we do require a two night minimum stay, especially for our serviced and non-serviced sites along the river.  During the shoulder season (May, June & September) throughout the weekday, we will accept one night reservations.  You are welcome to contact us as we may have pockets of available nights for those needing just one evening.

Join our Facebook or Instagram page to stay connected on all of our exciting announcements for the coming season.

We hope to see you this coming season!!!

WHAT OUR GUESTS ARE SAYING

Camper Preparing Meal

This campground is a hidden gem that needs to not be hidden. Our family stayed the weekend and it was fantastic. Sites are nice and large and by the creek as well. The cookies and the coffee at the store are better than a bakery. Bobbi and her family are very friendly and willing to help out with whatever issue you may have had. And the bathrooms are clean and free showers. Cant wait to go back. Thanks for the great weekend.

Starting a Bonfire

What a little treasure only 15 minutes from home! We truly felt on vacation the moment we arrived. Cute (and handy) store, clean sites, hot showers, great coffee and treats, SUPER friendly hosts, all surrounded by the best BC has to offer! We caught fish, cooled off in the clean river, even lucky enough to enjoy a break in the local wildfire smoke to enjoy a star-lit evening listening to the babbling river and wildlife. We've already booked again; this will be among our new favorite spots!

Campers in Woods

We stayed here recently and had a lovely time. The location is great and it is so nice to wake up in the morning beside the river and go for a walk.
The family that run this campground are very nice and friendly and very accommodating as we arrived late in the evening. Love their store it is done up so nice and their coffee & treats are delicious . Will definitely stay here again
